Concrete Collage is very happy to welcome Le Perche Oreille for this new release.
Years after we discovered him on the legendary Kaometry Records (and later on Open Outlets and Billegal Beats), the meticulous weird beat crafter is back with us with seven new journey into electronic music and a well crazy remix by none other than Beatwife !
Expect the usual intricate broken rhythms, detailed and well crafted melodic landscapes and an overall sens of attention to details running across the whole thing.

Pour un artiste comme Stazma The Junglechrist qui aura passé plus de dix ans à faire en sorte de transformer l'humain en corps dansant par la musique, Shapeshifter — enfin son premier album ! — est un aboutissement. Stazma y capture la pulsion à l'état brut. De la pochette qui transcende âge, sexe, couleur de peau (et qui paraît être sculptée dans ce matériau vivant qu'est le bois) à son breakcore qui, malgré ses sonorités cybernétiques, est fiévreux : on perd la boule et seul le rythme compte !

La personnalité de Julien Guillot se scinde à partir de Fluorhydrique EP (enfin, si on exclue ses performances en tant que Repeat Eater ou Julien Guillot lui-même) et sur Madness EP, c'est juste The Junglechrist qui opère. La personnalité de The Junglechrist se scinde dans Madness EP, car le DJ français y fait une sorte de mash-up avec du braindance dans "Madness", de la chiptune dans "PolyG" et du jungle très tendu dans "Waking Up My Girlfriend", le tout teinté de breakcore. Et c'est génial !

Le Fluorhydrique EP, il est sur la pochette ; l'acide, il est dans la musique inventée par Stazma The Junglechrist. Si on prend en compte ce qu'il fait sous le nom de Repeat Eater, il en est déjà à sa quatrième sortie pour le mois de 2020 mais il n'y a rien de précipité pour autant : au contraire, il est ici très méticuleux et fabrique un laboratoire sonique. Ce n'est pas la rapidité et la violence qui comptent mais plutôt la précision couplée avec une froideur cybernétique. Un E.P. fascinant !
